Sophie's Choice

The survivor of a Nazi concentration camp, Sophie (Meryl Streep) has a tough time adjusting to real life, to say the least. Nathan (Kevin Kline) is an American Jew obsessed with the history of the holocaust. When the two meet and befriend Stingo, an American writer in New York city, the three grow and learn together. But Sophie and Nathan’s happiness is endangered by her past and his obsession.
